Young sturgeon were released into Lake Michigan in Milwaukee. Eggs collected from spawning sturgeon in the Wolf River were raised in water from the Milwaukee River by volunteers from Riveredge Nature Center in Saukville in Ozaukee County. Project organizers hope the young fish will imprint on the Milwaukee River when they spawn decades later.
