Recent trail cam pictures show at least two does hanging out in our woods every night. My husband already has deer fever and has his bow all prepped for Wisconsin's bow hunting season opener tomorrow, Sept. 15.

Jake seems to think rather than just sit in the woods with him, I should take up the hunting hobby (obsession?), so he set up the bow he used as a kid. After a quick lesson of how to stand properly and hold the bow, he loaded an arrow and told me to aim the red dot at the fake deer's chest and pull the plastic trigger.
