Horse logging talk set for Jan. 9

    Taylor Johnson of Mule Skinner Horse Logging will talk about logging and property management at the season’s first Soup Lunch series at Hunt Hill Audubon Sanctuary.

Hunt Hill Audubon Sanctuary will kick off its 2018 Soup Lunch series Tuesday, Jan. 9, with a presentation on logging and property management by Taylor Johnson of Mule Skinner Horse Logging. The talk will be from noon to 1 p.m.

Held on the second Tuesday of each month during the winter, each soup lunch features a different guest speaker on a nature topic, along with a lunch of homemade soup, crackers and dessert. Call ahead of the date if interested in helping with food. Registration is not necessary. Freewill donations are accepted to help fund environmental education programming at Hunt Hill.
