UW-Extension staff for Ozaukee, Washington, Fond du Lac and Dodge counties will hold a series of meetings in January and February directed at planning for the future of a family’s farm business.

Jan. 11 is a full day focusing on the details of planning for farm business transition and retirement. Whether there is a successor or not, planning should still be done now.

Feb. 8 is a half-day meeting looking into many important topics as a farm owner considers estate planning.

Feb. 15 is another half-day session with a focus on how retirement planning can be impacted by farm succession.

Registrations are due one week before each session. The full day Jan. 11 is $30 per person or $50 per couple. Half-day sessions on Feb. 8 and 15 are $20 per person or $35 per couple. Fees include meals, speaker fees and a resource guide for each individual.

For more information or to register for any or all of the sessions, go to http://dairy. Questions can be directed to Tina Kohlman, 920-929-3180; Amanda Young, 920-385-3790; or Steph Plaster, 262-335-4482.
